Shuman Sohrn is a litigator with over two decades of experience advocating for individuals, corporations, financial institutions, and the federal government in civil litigation matters.  Mr. Sohrn represents the firm’s clients in federal lawsuits against corporations, nations, banks, and individuals that commit and/or provide material support for terrorist attacks, torture, and hostage-takings.  In addition to his Anti-Terrorism practice, Mr. Sohrn represents the firm’s clients in commercial, anti-human trafficking, and anti-corruption matters. Mr. Sohrn is a member of the firm’s Client Management Team where he serves the firm’s 4,000+ clients and works with the firm’s co-counsel law firms in pending litigation matters.

Prior to joining Sparacino PLLC, Mr. Sohrn was an Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel in the Enforcement Division at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Washington, D.C. Prior to his time at the SEC, he was a partner in Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Atlanta, Georgia office, where he focused on litigation, bankruptcy, and restructuring matters.

Mr. Sohrn is a graduate of Emory University School of Law (JD 2003), Order of the Barristers. During law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Society, competing for Emory’s national competition team and securities law team. Mr. Sohrn received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University (BA 1999), where he was a four-year member of the Northwestern Debate Society and a Hardy Debate Scholar.

Mr. Sohrn is licensed to practice law by the Florida Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. He is also admitted to the State Bar of Georgia (inactive status).
