Mike Massey is a C-suite and restructuring professional with over 22 years of experience in the finance and accounting sectors. He has experience in middle market business assessment and review, transaction negotiation and structuring, credit investment and underwriting, strategy development and execution, and operational cost improvement. Mr. Massey was a Senior Auditor for KPMG, a Financial Analyst for Fannie Mae, a Partner at Allied Capital, and most recently the CFO of the re-launch of a 120-year-old cigar brand.
As a restructuring professional, Mr. Massey has worked on over 50 middle-market transactions across industries. As an investment professional, Mr. Massey actively underwrote investments in troubled companies as well as new investments outside the distressed asset portfolio. Mr. Massey has held several board seats and acted within the C-suite to assist management teams with business strategy.
