Since joining Sparacino PLLC in April 2022, Mr. Eaton has focused on Anti-Terrorism Act litigation against defendants in the telecommunications industry, including MTN Group, Ericsson, Huawei, and ZTE. In 2023, he briefed, argued, and won the first decision defeating a motion to dismiss ATA claims following the Supreme Court’s decision in Twitter v. Taamneh, 598 U.S. 471 (2023).

Prior to joining Sparacino PLLC, Mr. Eaton was a partner in the Appellate and Critical Motions Group of Winston & Strawn LLP, and before that, an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell. He clerked for the Honorable Arthur J. Gajarsa of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Honorable Francis M. Allegra of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Mr. Eaton is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.  He holds an L.L.M from Georgetown University Law Center, where he studied constitutional law and appellate advocacy, and a B.A. in English from the College of William & Mary.

Mr. Eaton is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia, the State of New York, the U.S. Supreme Court, and numerous U.S Courts of Appeals and district courts.
